The purpose of this assignment was to explore different methods of conducting formative assessment with the aim of ensuring progress for all students in a sequence of lessons. I planned four lessons and employed different styles of formative assessment in each: a piece of written homework, a quiz, a tablet-based form of mini whiteboards called Plickers, and one-to-one guidance using a worked example.
