These are photos of a hand written essay. The question says "Compare the ways in which the writers of your two chosen texts portray the social concequences of human arrogance". The Handmaid's Tale and Frankenstein are compared due to the fact they are science fiction texts. I believe I recieved a high C in this specific essay but got an overall B in my A levels
This essay question reads "Compare the ways in which Shelley and Atwood use satire in Frankenstein and The Handmaid's Tale, to critique the accepted female roles in their respective societies". These are pictures of the printed essay as I do not have the original. This recieved a level B.
These pictures are of the handwritten notes I made before my final exam where I got a B in my A levels. These notes explore structure, with a focus on the dedications, epigraphs, and the historical notes found in the book. Similarly I recap narration, the use of tense, context and feminism in the text. I also briefly explore New England and Colonial America in these last notes before the exam
