A Critical Analysis of the Scales of Migration
This essay critically analyses the statement the concept that the “significance of scale lies in the processes that continually reconstitute it as theoretically, materially, and politically important” (Sayre and Di Vittorio, 2009). It argues that by choosing the scale at which political discussions take place, public understanding and reactions to the issue can be manipulated.
