My dissertation was based on how experience in the civil engineering industry is very limited to students. There is a vast ambiguity when trying to secure a placement within the engineering industry. I have interviewed several engineering in both contracting and consultancy to gather the opinion of how engineers in industry feel about the lack of experience opportunities available for students in the industry.
