£4.49
1x  sold

A 2800 word essay which critically analyses the film 'Lacombe Lucien' (Luis Malle, 1974) and the way in which it depicts German occupied France in WW2, as well as the Resistance movement, and compares some of the socio-political statements it made to true accounts of living in occupied France and participating in the Resistance. This essay includes quotes from real interviews I conducted, as well as criticisms of academic perspectives on both this film and the occupation itself.
