Notes on week 5 of Sociology and Everyday Life module. In this session, the class were given an introduction to Erving Goffman and how his ideas can be applied to everyday life.

Notes on week 3 of Sociology and Everyday Life module. In this session, the tutor goes through the presentation assessment for the module such as how the presentation should be structured and what students will be marked on. Students had to read up on chapter 8 of Susie Scott's book Making Sense of Everyday Life and answer questions on the chapter. The notes includes the answers to the questions. This session also looked at Daniel Miller's findings in his work Making Love in the Supermarkets.
