SL maths A&A IA, awarded a level 6. Research focus was 'a mathematical exploration of the mandlebrot set'.

This is my IB Mathematics Applications and Interpretations Internal Assessment which aims to investigate the question: "Is there a correlation between the number of hours slept at night and short-term memory recall in teenagers and middle-aged adults?" It was externally graded by IB Examiners in the May 2021 session and scored a level 5 (14/20). Written by an IB student who scored a 6 in Mathematics AI SL and a total of 41/45 IB points.

This is a very good example of how to structure your IB Maths Internal Assessment, clearly demonstrating the investigation, measurement, mathematical processes, and interpretation of the results. I nearly received full marks for this IA so I believe this will be very helpful for your Maths IA! The creative study is focusing on the relationship between hydration and its effects on people in Mathematical processing.
