The chosen theories that will be discussed are Argyle’s stages of communication and Tuckman’s stages of group interactions. This is because these theories explain how effective communication is developed within group and one to one interactions. However, the problems with these theories will also be explained as there are flaws within theories which may not develop effective communication.

We communicate in many situations such as professional settings, work, family, friendship groups and team. We communicate with many forms such as social media, phones, facial expressions, letters, artwork, body language and gestures.
