In this summary of the lectures that were given in the year of 2020, the important aspects, concepts and details of each school are mentioned and explained when necessary (except for lecture 1,6 & 7). The other lectures aren't less important (except for lecture 1 maybe), I simply did not attend these lectures. The information given in the lectures that are covered in this summary, however, are extensive and should help you with studying for the exam.

In deze samenvatting worden de drie verplichte artikelen voor het vak Actuele Vraagstukken van Oorlog & Vrede (Radboud Universiteit) behandeld. Voornamelijk worden de belangrijke gebeurtenissen van de artikelen genoemd, met daarbij waar nodig een korte uitleg gegeven. Het gaat om de volgende artikelen: 1. 'Understanding Syria: from pre-civil war to post-Asad' 2. 'Syria: from 'authoritarian upgrading' to revolution?' 3. 'Armed conflict in Syria: overview and U.S. response'
