Why do you feel as though you are suitable for this job?
I feel as though I am suitable for this job because I have many years of experience in
retail and I possess a combination of skills such as the ability to communicate,
teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving, which makes me stand out. I also feel as
though I will do the work and deliver exceptional results. I will fit in beautifully and be
a great addition to the team.
What can you bring to the team?
I can bring many things to the team such as my experience, confidence, and the
ability to work in a team. Confidence is important when working in a team as I will be
able to exchange ideas with others and allow them to feel comfortable. I can also
bring respect to the team which is something I value most. Respect is something that
should be given as well as received.
Have you been in a situation where you have shown good customer service?
What happened and what was the result?
There was a time when I was working and there was a customer standing there
waiting for assistance and I took it amongst myself to approach the customer and
ask how may I help them. They explained that they had requested and paid extra for
an extra amount of sauce but they in fact did not receive any. I then apologised for
the inconvenience and added the extra sauce inside the burger and returned it to the
customer.
Tell me about a challenge or conflict you’ve faced at work, and how you dealt
with it.
There has been a time when I have been challenged whilst working at my old
workplace at Mcdonald’s and a customer was irritated because their food was taking
too long. Due to the fact that they were irritated, they began to speak to me
inappropriately by insulting me and I tried to defuse the situation. I did this by
