Summary of all the articles that need to be studied for the course Globalization 2, given at the faculty of social sciences at the VU. Includes all articles, except for Chapter 4&9 from the book 'Cultural contestation in ethnic conflict' by Ross (2007), 'Heritage and globalization' by Harrison (2015) and 'Toward a sociology of the network society' by Sassen (2008). These articles aren't included since I had trouble finding or accessing them, so I wasn't able to read them myself.

This document includes summaries of all of the articles (except Davis) which need to be studied for the exam of the subject Globalization 1, given to social sciences students at the VU. Note: I have written these summaries with a background of both anthopology and political science, so it might be the case that I do not explain certain themes and concepts very in-depht, since I have already studied those themes and concepts before.

For the Master'sCulture, Organization and Management, I did research on the lack of (cultural) diversity among Dutch National Opera & Ballet's audience.
