Comparative Government

Do the actors in the case have the competence to do what they claim? - Who has the powers of law-making, executing laws, and of exercising judicial tasks? - Considering that the US is a federal state, what does that mean and what does it imply for the powers of the federal government and the individual states? - How are the different branches of government set up, and who elects/nominates them?

This is a summary of the course Comparative Government at Maastricht University. The summary includes two pages of summary based on topic, and then many pages of summary based on country.
