There are many links between the events and travel and tourism industries, usually because people attending the events have to travel to different places. In some cases, an overnight stay is required, therefore booking accommodation will be essential, but to make the event stress free and make the bookings easier, it would be convenient to host the event at a hotel that can cater for an event.

Other events such as product launches, music events and festivals, wedding fairs, and reunions are held for the public. For example, product launches are events in which organizations launch their new or already existing products or new company names to attract people’s attention and generate press and publicity. Whereas events such as weddings and reunions are held for private customers who wish to celebrate a special occasion.
