Introduction
The following paper describes who I am as a leader based on the Self assessments I took
and from the feedback I received from people who know me best. This information will help
me analyze my strengths, skills and other positive attributes of my personality and help me
develop my statement as a leader. This statement will help me develop a vision in my path
towards being a successful leader. This information will also provide areas that are my
weaknesses so that I can come up with strategies to overcome them.
My strengths
The first self-assessment I took was the Leadership Presence Online Test (Ariel n.d). This
test helps you understand how completely present you are in the moment and if you are
flexible
to handle unexpected situations. In addition, this test also helps you determine how your
relationships are built, the way you express to put across information and your sense of
knowing yourself and knowing if your values reflected in your actions. The scoring of this
test is based on four dimensions or the PRES model standing for Present, Reaching out,
Expressing and Self knowing.
My test results revealed that I scored an excellent at being present, reaching out and
expressing myself. The self-knowing quality was the one quality that I scored the least. I
understand that my strengths are being able to manage stressful situations, taking care of
myself and eliminating distractions. I can be present and listen actively to what is being
said. I also show good flexibility and can work with people of all different levels. I do
