When to use IDRAW

Donning a mask
• Place over nose, mouth, chin.
• Secure top strings behind ears, high on back of head.
• Tie strings at back of neck, adjust flexible nose piece, change q30 mins/damp.
Eye and face protection
• Position goggles over eyes & eye glasses, secure to the head using ear pieces.
• Position face shield over face, secure on brow with headband, if mask has built in face shield
then apply like a regular mask.
• Adjust to fit comfortably.
What is a respirator?
• The N95 respirator/mask has a filter efficiency level of 95% or greater against particulate
aerosols free of oil.
• It is fluid resistant, disposable and may be worn in surgery.
• Must be "fitted".

Removing gloves

• Grasp outside edge of one dirty glove

• Hold dirty glove in opposite, gloved hand.
• Slide ungloved finger under wrist of remaining glove (skin-to-skin).
• Peel off from inside, creating a bag for both gloves.
