professionalism important to keep work and personal issues separate, as
not to cloud professional practice and judgement.
-doctors are leaders in a medical team and the face of the
organization/clinic. By acting in a professional manner putting aside
personal differences, allows him/her collaborate and execute agenda
effectively
-ex. report academic honesty over feeling bad for the person

How do you feel about PBL (problem based learning)? - 🧠ANSWER ✔✔-
PBL is one of my reason why I have LECOM as my top choice. I am a
visual based, and hands on learner. I retain more knowledge when I get to
practice it and apply it to real life situations
-in the past, I find myself doing much better in classes that adapt this
problem based solving then lectures. I can certainly memorize Power
Points/textbook without problem but practicing those concepts leaves a
heavier print in my mind.
-for instance, in cell biology instead of reading off a ppt the professor
probes our mind. He presents an physiological problem and constantly
asks questions to how we solve it. Each time we brain storm an experiment
design/lab technique to figure out what went wrong in the protein
translation pathway he asks why it works/not work. Consequently this is
also one of the classes that I retain the most material in.

-collection of 300 tang poems
-sometimes I like to pick up literature anthology and read the stories too.
They always have something I can learn from

✔✔-since elmira is a new campus, I am wondering how the rotations are
set up.
