Please read the following before beginning the exam:
• You must show your work for calculations or give an explanation for short answer
questions in order to receive credit.
• You may only use the methods and explanations provided by this course for your
answers.
• You MUST use the Periodic Table provided by the course.
• The use of printed versions of the Periodic Table and will be considered a violation of
the Academic Integrity Policy.
• Your lab notebook and/or lab report should be used when taking the exam. You may
either print it out or use handwritten notes. You must show both sides of your lab
notebook and/or lab report during the room scan. If you fail to show your lab
notebook or lab report, but it is clear you are using some form of notes, it will be
considered a violation of the Academic Integrity Policy.
• During lab exams you may not use any outside source of information such as the
module, problem sets, Internet, tutor, etc., with the exception of your lab
notebook/report mentioned above.
• You may only copy and paste from within the exam itself or from the provided
calculator but not from an outside source.
• The only items you should have in front of you are the exam itself, 1-2 pieces of
blank scratch paper, a pen/pencil, a calculator (non-cell phone), and your lab
