- Gezondheidszorg = curatief en preventief
 Curatief: je voelt je al slecht, spreekt iemand aan en dan verbetert je
toestand
 Preventief: collectieve maatregelen genomen door overheid
Bv. Campagnes rond voedingsdriehoek, stimuleren gezonde voeding,
nutriscore, …

- Gezondheidszorg is dus curatief en preventief, gericht op:
 Herstellen
 Behouden
 Bevorderen

- In evolutie:
 Nieuwe technologische mogelijkheden (robots die opereren, scans nu vs.
vroeger)
 Maatschappelijke & economische factoren (sociale zekerheid BE vs. USA)

- Nastreven van:
 Doelmatigheid = efficiëntie
 Rechtvaardige financiering: iedereen beschermen tegen hoge
medische kosten
 Toegankelijkheid: voor iedereen mogelijk
o Starten bij huisarts, doorverwijzen naar specialist, dan chirurg, en
verder, …
o Dat zorgt voor een efficiënt zorgsysteem, stappenplan doorlopen
o De toegang zo laagdrempelig mogelijk maken
