, Zenuwstelsel en signaaloverdracht

Het zenuwstelsel bestaat uit 2 delen:
1. Centraal zenuwstelsel: hersenen en ruggenmerg
2. Perifeer zenuwstelsel: zenuwen en ganglia
1. Somatisch zenuwstelsel: dwarsgestreepte spieren en ontvangen zintuigelijke informatie
1. Gnostisch
2. Vitaal
2. Autonome zenuwstelsel: nodig voor onbewuste en automatische functies inwendige
organen
1. Sympathisch zenuwstelsel
2. Parasympathisch zenuwstelsel

Een neuron bestaat uit 3 hoofdonderdelen:
1. Cellichaam (soma): bevat de celkern, verantwoordelijk voor stofwisseling van de cel
2. Dendrieten: ontvangen informatie van andere zenuwcellen en leiden deze naar het
cellichaam
3. Axon: uitloper die elektrische impulsen van het cellichaam naar andere cellen leidt
- kan omgeven zijn door myeline
- aan het einde van het axon -> axonale eindpunten: geven via synapsen signalen door aan
andere cellen

Actiepotentialen
1. Rustfase: rustmembraanpotentiaal -70mV
- Na+/K+ pomp pompt telkens actief 3 Na+ ionen de cel uit voor elke 2 K+ ionen die
het naar binnen pompt
2. Depolarisatie: stimulus opent Na+ kanalen -> drempelwaarde bereiken
3. Repolarisatie: Na+ kanalen sluiten en K+ kanalen openen -> K+ verlaat de cel
4. Hyperpolarisatie: K+ kanalen zijn traag met sluiten -> membraanpotentiaal wordt negatiever
dan het rustpotentiaal
5. Terugkeer naar rustpotentiaal

Transport van neuronen
- Anterograad transport: transport van het cellichaam naar het axonuiteinde
- eiwitten, enzymen en blaasjes met neurotransmitters
- Retrograad transport: transport van het axonuiteinde naar het cellichaam
- afvalstoffen, versleten organellen of signaalmoleculen terugvoeren
Beide vormen van transport verlopen langs microtubuli en zijn essentieel voor het functioneren en
overleven van neuronen.

Een synaps bestaat uit 3 onderdelen:
1. Presynaptische uiteinde
2. Synapsspleet
3. Postsynaptisch membraan: hierop bevinden zich receptoren die neurotransmitters binden
- Omzetting: elektrisch – chemisch – elektrisch
