THIS PAPER CONSISTS OF SEVEN (7) PAGES.
Instructions:
(1) You are required to submit your answers as a single document in pdf format on the myExams
platform (https://myexams.unisa.ac.za/portal). See the Student Guide: Take-Home/File Upload Exam
on Assignment Activity on myExams for detailed instructions.
(2) It is preferable for you to type your answers (Font: Arial 12) and then convert your document to pdf
format for submission. However, if this is not possible, you may also write your answers down and scan
them to a pdf file. Please write legibly and ensure that your scanned document is legible.
(3) Start with a cover page stating the module code (HRM3706) and your student number.
(4) This should be followed by your answers to the questions. NOTE THAT ALL THREE QUESTIONS
ARE COMPULSORY. THERE ARE NO ELECTIVE QUESTIONS.
(5) There is no need for a table of contents, introduction, conclusion or list of references (as was required in
your assignments). Simply answer the questions asked.
(6) Ensure that each question and subquestion is clearly numbered.
(7) While you are not required to cite your sources, this does not mean that you can simply copy
information from any source. You need to answer the questions in your own words. You are also not
permitted to engage or collaborate with anyone during the examination. Academic dishonesty will not
be tolerated and will result in disciplinary action if detected.
(8) Ensure that you submit a declaration of honesty on myExams (this is part of the electronic submission
process).
(9) If you experience any technical challenges during the examination, send an e-mail to
