dosing is not correct, there is a risk for hepatoxicity
Side Effects- n/v, trouble sleeping, liver problems, changes in urine
Mechanism of action- inhibits CNS pathways
Acetaminophen peak, duration and onset - Answer Half life is different but other than that,
onset, peak and duration are the same
Onset of action:
Oral: <1 hour
IV: Analgesia: 5 to 10 minutes; Antipyretic: Within 30 minutes
Peak effect: IV: Analgesic: 1 hour
Duration:
IV, Oral: Analgesia: 4 to 6 hours
IV: Antipyretic: ≥6 hours
Time to peak, serum: Oral: Immediate release: 10 to 60 minutes (may be delayed in acute
overdoses); IV: 15 minutes
Pulmicort info - Answer corticosteroid, anti-inflammatory- used for maintenance therapy and
prophylaxis of asthma, Considerations- provide/teach oral hygiene, inhale deeply, protect from

Side effects- nosebleed, common cold symptoms, throat irritation, nose irritation, adrenal gland
problems, cushing syndrome, infection, chest pain, anxiety, severe diarrhea/nausea, vomiting,
