8. Roots of Criminal Forensic science is considered a new field and can be traced back to 1248. In
Investigation China, the examination of the body after death was called postmortem and this
helped uncover the cause of death. The idea of an autopsy was new and innovative.
Forensic science and CSI was interdisciplinary which means that it had relations
and worked with a lot of different fields such as biology, psychology and chemistry.
Along with this, police, lawyers and doctors have relation to forensic science so we
must look at the history of policing and medicine as well

9. What is kin polic- In early clan life, there was something called kin policing. Kin policing meant that
ing every member in the clan had a say in the law. Communities would collectively
choose punishments and be responsible for finding violators. Essentially the judge
and jury all in one. All decisions were absolute and once you were convicted you
were branded so that people knew that you were a violator.
