sixteen (16) hours. On duty is defined as "Work Time." Initial on duty status begins at a point
following eight (8)

consecutive hours off duty.

time shall be required to have a minimum consecutive off duty time of eight (8) hours within
any one (24) hour period.



4) Any Safety Sensitive Employee may be permitted to exceed his or her regulated hours for the
following reasons:



A - If the hours are necessitated by adverse conditions resulting from weather or emergencies
resulting from an accident, medical reason or disaster



B - If the hours are in order to reach a regularly established relief point, provided the additional
driving time does not exceed 1 hour



5) Any Safety Sensitive Employee who, for any reason, violates this rule regarding "Hours of
Service" shall notify the appropriate management representative immediately in

writing, explaining the circumstances, at the completion of the assignment.
