1. Batch System A type of system developed for the earliest computers that used punch cards or
tape for input, which were entered in batch.

2. Central Process- The component with the circuitry, the chips, to control interpretation and execution

(RAM) and is charged with performing the system's most essential tasks such as
main memory management and disk access.

11. Interactive Sys- A system that allows each user to interact directly with the operating system using
