Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is another type of psychotherapy; it is a talking treatment that helps people deal with their issues by altering their thoughts and actions. Depression, anxiety, and other mental and physical health issues can all be helped by this method. That our deeds, bodily experiences, emotions, and mental states are all intertwined forms the basis for this method. The tenets of humanism and existentialism underpin humanistic-existential psychotherapy, which is founded on the idea of free will and the values of individual agency, self-awareness, and genuine connection to one's environment.
