Found on main tab; only utilized on the rare occasion in which the pt has
had the TB skin test placed at a non-TAUC facility and is requesting only a
reading. Bc we did not administer the TB skin test, no order is placed in the
"Med Orders and Admin section." The initial placement of the TB skin test
must be ordered there.
, Lab Corp Interface

-Selected for any lab send-outs for pt with United Health Care insurance or
who specifically request that send out labs be sent to Lab Corp (choose
"Lab corp" in the drop down next to "Lab Filter"-bottom left of screen- prior
to ordering any send-out lab test)
-Quest is the default option and does not require any change in the way an
order is placed
-Frequently used order codes are found on the TAUC Lab Corp Quick
Guide located in the Laboratory folder on the TAUC drive
Radiology Orders X-rays

X-ray readings must be entered into Opal. After the x-ray is overread and
its status is changed to read, the reading will automatically import to the
chart in DocuTap as a clickable link
Steri-Strips

Found under misc/other tab; for wound repairs that do not get sutures or
staples, chart the procedure in "notes" section of the order or in "wound
repair" (always order when steri-strips are used, even if documented in
"wound repair" procedure note)
