Abstract
The evaluation of piles within foundations depends heavily on dynamic testing as part of the pile
testing procedures. Research efforts today concentrate on developing pile test techniques that
provide better accuracy and reduced costs for pile evaluation systems. Systematic research on
pile testing will examine numerical modeling, machine-learning technologies, and high-strain
dynamic pile tests (HSDPT). Recent studies demonstrate the growth of testing protocols, their
usage for soft soils, and machine-learning capabilities for pile measurements. Numerous case
analyses of infrastructure projects at high-speed railways and bridges demonstrate the valuable
advantages of dynamic testing procedures. The paper includes final recommendations designed
to increase the accuracy and reliability of pile testing when performed on-site.
