JJ, a little kid who will soon be 7 years old, has been battling asthma throughout his whole life. He has been hospitalized several times. There have been a number of different treatments that have been tried, and although some of them have been beneficial, none of them have been entirely effective. You are giving therapy for him, and you are aware of a research concerning the creation of a new drug for asthma. You are interested in seeing whether there is a connection between the two. This innovative treatment is administered through inhalation and contains bronchodilators, steroids, and antihistamines (Kliegman & St. Geme III, 2019). Nobody younger than 12 years old has ever been granted permission to use any of the medications that are now the subject of clinical studies. The study would take a total of one and a half months to complete.
