Coversion between ppm and mg/m^3. (MW) is molecular weight.
Ans: ppm=((mg/m^3)24.45)/MW
Conversion between mg/m^3 and ppm. (MW) is molecular weight.
Ans: mg/m^3=(ppm*MW)/24.45
Inverse square law for determining radiation intensity (I) at a given
distance (d) if given a reference intensity and diatance
Ans: I2=I1(d1/d2)^2
Combined gas law for determining new pressure, volume or
temperatures under a new set of conditions (i.e. Higher temperatures,
lower pressures, smaller volumes etc). Note that (T) must be in
absolute temp units, Kelvin (K). Degrees K=+273.15 Celsius.
Ans: (P1)(V1)/(T1)=(P2)(V2)/(T2)
Darcy's law for determining hydraulic conductivity through soil. Note
that I have dropped the sign on this equation, the value will be positive.
