, Introduction:
Recently, I have joined an IT department within a manufacturing company
which is called Marshall Aerospace and Defence group. This
manufacturing company has a wide variety of different applications which
are used for different purposes such as taking the stock control,
manufacturing needs, processing orders and finally personnel systems. All
the applications and the data which Marshall Aerospace and Defence
group hold, are all stored on servers which is located within the head
office of the organisation. The IT director of this organisation wants to
know if the implementation of cloud technologies within the company will
benefit our company. My supervisor has also asked me to write an
analytical report. Within this report, I will be speaking about How IT is
deployed within Marshall Aerospace and Defence group, including how the
deployment of IT helps this company meet their needs and their aims.
Further along into the report, I will be speaking about how cloud
technologies and the delivery model can be used to sufficiently meet
Marshall Aerospace and Defence groups aims and needs. Marshall
Aerospace and Defence group (MADG) also have various needs such as
security of their data, ensuring that customer satisfaction is high,
scalability due to larger projects, miminal delays.I will be explaining these
needs and further needs of MADG which currently help them and which
would help them within the future to expand further into the
manufacturing market.
