Trachea - Ans -It is also known as windpipe, it filters the air we inhale and branches
into the bronchi.
Lungs - Ans -The main organ of the respiratory system.
Pharynx - Ans -Tube that connects the mouth to the larynx and esophagus.
Bronchi - Ans -Tube that connects the trachea to the lungs.
Larynx - Ans -commonly called the voice box, and a connection between the pharynx
and trachea
Alveoli - Ans -It is the tiny sac like structure present in the lungs which the gaseous
exchange takes place.
Diaphragm - Ans -Breathing begins with a dome-shaped muscle located at the
bottom of the lungs.
Epiglottis - Ans -It is a leaf-shaped flap of cartilage located behind the tongue, at the
top of the larynx, or voice box.
Respiratory system - Ans -This system has a primary organ which is lungs, the
function is to take in oxygen and expel carbon dioxide as we breathe.
