The target audience of EXTRACT A appears to be individuals who appreciate the
emotional power of music, possibly older readers or music lovers nostalgic about the
past. The purpose of the text is to highlight the emotional and transformative power of
music. The description of the piano and the feelings evoked by its music aim to stir the
reader’s imagination and emotional connection to the past. Personally, music has a
significant impact on my well-being. It provides comfort during stressful times, helps me
relax, and often uplifts my mood. Soft instrumental music especially helps me to unwind
after a long day. When I listen to familiar melodies, I feel more at peace, and it allows
me to momentarily escape the pressures of daily life. Thus, music not only entertains
but also plays a therapeutic role in enhancing my mental health and overall sense of
calm.
