A. The student can set a meeting with their instructor first to help them get started.
According to the Being Successful with Online Proctoring section in the WGU handbook
before a student can retake the assessment, they must meet with their professor first
Which is something apart of the ALERT framework (WGU, 2020). This can also help the
student because they can go over what was missed and focus on areas in which they are
weak.
The second thing the student can do is make sure they go over the proctor rules and
requirements, so they aren’t as frazzled as they were during their first attempt. The
student can refer to the WGU Online Proctoring Checklist: ALERT, in the WGU
handbook to make sure they are following the correct criteria (WGU ,2020).

note taking where you split the paper between sides and put basic information on the left
and more detailed information on the right side (Washington, 2018).
2. For effective studying this student could use the PQ3R method. This method is done by
previewing what you are going to read first, then reading the content, next you are writing
down anything that can be remembered, and finally reviewing what you have then going back
to the text to fill in the gaps in your notes (Hannaman, 2016).
3. To effectively manage their time the student could try planning ahead and prioritize tasks
