awareness, communication, and management skills on the part of leaders in any organization in

vitally important in the healthcare industry as every aspect of management faces crucial ethical

elements. An organization with a strong culture helps employees to accomplish their goals and

interprofessional teamwork in healthcare organizations. The organizational culture of a business

or healthcare setting can change the result of employee ethics and work environments. We must

strive to be aware of the organizational culture going forward with these changes.

Ethical Practices

Any type of organizational change can alter relationships and culture. It is

important when going forward with this merger that we consider our ethical practices and

organizational culture. An employee’s perception of their work environment can positively or

negatively affect their ethical practices. If employees believe they do not have a positive

organizational culture, it can negatively affect their ethical practices. It can also change their

ethics positively if they have a positive culture. Although the environment should not change

personal ethics, it can have a bearing on how they treat others. Building a productive culture that

respects the diversity of professional cultures also requires a unifying mission and purpose. This

information must be clearly communicated and should serve as the center for action (Morrison,

2020). A unifying mission assists everyone to work toward the same goal and understand his/her
