SRT - Answer--Previously referred to as speech reception threshold, spondee recognition threshold
-Level at which listener can correctly repeat back stimulus 50% of the time or with 50% accuracy
SDT - Answer--Previously referred to as speech awareness threshold
-Level at which listener indicates awareness 50% of the time (similar to pure tone threshold)
stimuli - Answer-spondee words usually used for SRT
what are spondee words? - Answer--Two syllable, compound words
-Equal stress on each syllable
