strengths (tips on how to answer below!!!!)
Reliability
A strength is the study is high in reliability this means the consistency of a
measure remains the same after multiple attempts. The study is conducted
in a laboratory setting which normally follows a standardized procedure for
example; all participants had to eat normally and make sure not to ingest
caffeine or alcohol, all were attached to EEG and EOG electrodes, all had to
sleep in the laboratory in a dark quiet room, all were woken up by a doorbell
in different time intervals of REM and N-REM, all had to describe their dream
content on a tape recorder and all participants were asked more questions
about their dreams. following a standardized procedure ensures participants
all have the same experience therefore another researcher can replicate the
study again and come to similar conclusions, which increases the reliability
of the study.

Application to real-life
A strength of the study is that it can be applied to real life. This means the
study can be used in everyday life situations to benefit people. For example,

their sleep cycle as see if it is typical or atypical. Additionally, Study can also
be used to understand why people have a lot of nightmares, and in which
stages of the sleep cycle to reduce it as it may be affecting their well-being.
In conclusion, using brain scans can help understand our brain activity that
