or less in capacity used for storage or transportation. For compressed gases, a

associated with solid or liquid hazardous materials or compressed gases, shall not
be deemed to be containers if in active use.

quantities of hazardous materials not exceeding the maximum allowable quantities
per control area are stored, handled or used, including any dispensing.
\CRYOGENIC CONTAINER - ANS-A pressure container, low-pressure container or
atmospheric container of any size designed or used for the transportation, handling
or storage of a cryogenic fluid, and which utilizes venting, insulation, refrigeration or
a combination thereof to maintain the pressure within design parameters for such
container and to keep the contents in a liquid state.
\CRYOGENIC FLUID - ANS-A fluid having a boiling point lower than -130 °F at 14.7
pounds per square inch absolute (psia) (an absolute pressure of 101.3 kPa).
\DISPENSING - ANS-The pouring or transferring by other means of any material
from a container, tank or similar vessel, which would release dusts, fumes, mists,
vapors or gases to the atmosphere, unless such release is prevented by a device,
equipment or system designed for that purpose.
