Age ranges in pathways - -Neonate 0-1 hr
Infant 1hr - 12 months
Toddler 1 - 5 yr
Child 5 - 15 yr
Adult 16yr +
- A Pathway - -Flow chart used to asses a patient's issue, which is presented
in a clear and user friendly way to the HA
- Question in Pathways - -Question presented by the system to be answered
by the caller
- Question rational - -Brief explanation of why a question is being asked of
the patient
- Answer stem - -Division of each question to be answered
- Supporting Information - -Explanation of what is meant by each answer
stem
- The Body Map - -Division between Module 0 and 1, where the users can
select a symptom based pathway
- Body Map Areas - -Areas of the body map to be clicked to access
Pathways
- Call Summary - -Contains details of the questions which have a significant
answer
- Call Report - -Contains details of all the questions and advice given
- Key Points - -Instruction for when and when not to use a certain pathway
- Reasons for Early Exit - -Emergency: Patient has gone unconscious, fitting
or choking
the phone line went dead
the crew has arrived before the assessment has been completed
I terminated the call OR the caller terminated the call
Caller decided no further advice is required
