MATH141 Section 9.1 - Introduction to Differential Equations
Class notes for MATH 141 taught by Quinn Minnich. All notes posted reflect all chapters and units of Calculus 2 taught by this specific professor as well as most other professors teaching MATH141. Section 9.1 is the second "unit" in MATH 141 and introduces students to differential equations, which is only briefly covered in Calculus 2 as there is a separate course for that topic alone. This "unit" is broken into an introduction and application of differential equations. All notes are followed up by examples and practice problems. Each section in the notes is highlighted for clarity. Course Contents: - Introduces students to differential equations - Introduces students to real-life applications of differential equations - Includes various ways to solve differential equations - Includes example problems solved by the professor - Includes several practice problems to solve on your own - Includes terminology to understand differential equation problems
