career at a stable airline. To continue to enjoy flying and transporting people

various creative pursuits, such drawing and writing
- How would your friends describe you? - -Loyal, honest , fun entertaining

- When was the last time you called in sick? - -End oh August was out for six
days on day six lost my voice, was home on a Sunday was able to see a
doctor the next Monday started antibiotics for a serve sinus infection.
Missed the following Tuesday, called the morning of the following
Wednesday to be added back to my long call schedule.
- Did you call in sick to make the interview? - -Nope used my only week of
vacation
- Have you ever lied? - -Ever , yes 4 weeks after my wife had our daughter
she asked if her dress made her look fat. I said of course not!!!
- Have you ever stolen anything? - -Yes, when I was in elementary me some
buddies stole some candy for a movie
- Tell me about a time when you broke a regulation? - -Capt kept having me
sign them in on the acars which I can't do because I can't say if they are fit
for duty.
- What has been your favorite plane? - -I loved teaching in the PA44
(seminole). But my favorite plane to date has been the CRJ900. I like the
technology behind it and am looking forward to flying something larger and
more advanced.
- What was your least favorite plane? - -I did my initial flight training in a
C152 and wasn't a fan of it. The training took place at a high density altitude
airport and I always felt like the plane was underpowered.
, - Why Spirit? - -I think that Spirit is doing it right. The ULCC business model
is spot on in my opinion. I think that many of the other airlines have
forgotten what they're actually around for; transporting passengers from
origin to destination safely.
The more I looked into the major airlines the more Spirit stood out as being
the most successful. The potential growth that Spirit is going to experience is
exciting and I would enjoy the opportunity to be a part of it.
- What would you do if you couldn't upgrade for 4 or 5+ years? - -I would do
my job. I'm working for a major airline and lucky enough to be doing what I
enjoy. The upgrade will come when it comes.
- A captain shows up drunk in the morning, take it from there, what do you
do? - -I ask the captain if he/she is feeling fit to fly. I'm hoping that they will
realize that they aren't so that they can make the decision to call in sick
rather than me taking further action. If they aren't getting the hint, I'd call
ALPA professional standards to let them know of the situation and hopefully
be desecrate about everything. If no action is taken, then my last course of
action would be to call in sick myself. At that point, I've done everything in
my power to prevent the flight short of detaining the captain myself.
- FA comes to your room and accuses the CA of sexually harassment, how
do you handle it? - -I would advise the FA to call her supervisor and ask to
be taken off of the trip. I can't do much except try to defuse the situation. Its
up to her her to press charges and I can't be of any assistance since I didn't
witness the harassment.
- How did you prepare for the interview? - -I spoke with some friends who
work for Spirit to see if the company was a good fit for my career plans and
goals. I then went online, looked at the company history and business model.
After I determined that I would like to work for Spirit, I researched interview
gouges to get a sense of what might be asked of me during the interview.
- Tell us about a bad experience with a captain? - -Captain black wood

- How would you rate your pilot skills on a scale of 1-10?' - -I would give
myself an 8 or 9. I
- Tell me about yourself. - -I'm a hard worker and very goal driven. I set
standards high and refuse to give up on my desires. I'm professional,
compassionate and fun to be around. I know when to relax and enjoy myself
as well as when to put my work hat back on and get things done.

out there. Being an ULCC allows for highest profits and least expenses. The
