were more on topic than others and I communicated that. By doing that, I was able to
help her better understand my perspective. I just learned that you have to treat it as
selling your idea.

, How do you help someone understand your perspective if they are not on
the same page with the design?
I'd like to become a teacher and educate the next generation of UX designers. My
high school graphic design teacher inspired me a lot and helped me in figuring out
what I want to do for the rest of my life, and I want to do that for others. I think this
internship is a good opportunity to get more acquainted with the design process and
build a proficiency in design programs so that I can pass what I've learn onto
students.

I was recently given a hands on project from an internship I applied for where I had to
redesign an app given a problem statement and a couple research insights. I had
never done app design or a real UX project based on research. so it was really new to
me. I referenced what I learned in class, looked through YouTube tutorials and looked
through good UX projects online to get an idea on how to approach the problem and
then got to work. Through doing that, I was able to get a better understanding of how
to go about solving UX problems and how to talk about my design process.

-Custom playlists and recommended artists based on what you listen to.

What are some websites/apps whose design you love? Why?
PetSmart is a chain of pet superstores that provides pet products and offer pet
services like training and grooming. They've facilitated over 9 million adoptions and
partnered with thousands of animal welfare organizations. I noticed how much effort
they put in to help pets and I really support that mission. I love animals and think they
all deserve to live a good life but there are so many of them around the world
suffering from being used for things like entertainment, scientific advancement, and
being kept as exotic pets. Raising awareness of those issues is really important. And I
thought that being able to help improve their product's UX would make a big impact
on the business and help in accomplishing their mission to save lives.
