Results
A series of analyses were conducted utilizing Hayes (2018) Process Macro version 3.5.3 to

consider if there was a relationship between gender, age, relationship status and satisfaction with

life. Descriptive statistics and correlations can be found in output 1 & 2. Hayes (2018) Process

produced regression coefficients, p-values and confidence intervals with 5000 bootstrap samples

for each of the regressions included in the models (see . A simple mediation model was also

conducted.

• It was hypothesized that gender and relationship status was an influencing factor in

one’s satisfaction with life. It appears that relationship status (b = .0644, SE = .0327, CI

=([ . 0002 to .1286]) transmits a significant positive effect according to gender (see

Figure 1).

• It was hypothesized that age and relationship status was an influencing factor in one’s

satisfaction with life. It appears that age (b = 5.219, SE = .640, CI = ([3.964 to 6.474)

has a significant positive effect on satisfaction with life (see Figure 2).
