L’attribution causale

L’américain Fritz Heider (1958) : The psychology of interpersonal relations

Qui a été le premier a définir cette attribution causale,

C’est le fait de trouver des causes à chaque évènement psychologique

Le psychologue naïf (l’homme de la rue), veut avoir de son environnement
une connaissance relativement valide qui lui permette de le contrôler et
de le maîtriser

Notion d’attribution causale = inférer une cause pour expliquer un
évènement psychologique

Il y a 2 types d’évènements psychologiques ; ce qui m’arrive ou arrive aux
autres (renforcement) et ce que je fais ou ce que font les autres
(comportements)

Il y a toujours un ACTEUR et un OBSERVATEUR

Hétéro-attributions : expliquer à l’observateur ce qui nous arrive

Auto-attributions : on explique soi-même ce qui nous arrive

Selon Heider, en cherchant les causes d’un évènement psychologique, le
psychologue intuitif cherche à trouver une structure stable, permanent et
non immédiatement perceptible qui sous-tend des comportements
particuliers, variables et immédiatement perçus

Les conditions d’émergence :

Réaction du chien au son du métronome,

Passage du courant behavioriste au courant cognitiviste, d’une conception
de l’individu comme « machine à répondre », on passe à une conception
de l’individu comme « machine à inférer »

Existe-t-il des différences entre auto et hétéro-attributions ?
La perception de soi est IDENTIQUE à la perception d’autrui, Kelley Bem
(1972, théorie de l’autoperception), auto = hétéro-attributions
