Levels of Communication - ANSWER Casual Communication - low intensity,
inconsequential, and light (ex: a spontaneous chat with a coworker in the
hallway)
Critical Communication - slightly higher intensity, more consequential, and a
little more challenging (ex: a phone call to discuss the status of a project with its
owner)
Crucial Communication -
The communication Cycle - ANSWER SENDER (message, end code) -->
SEND --> RECEIVER (decode, interpret) --> receiver becomes the sender
Sender filters message through the unique lens of emotion, experience,
background, education, and more.
As the receiver, your job is to decode the messages coming your way, unpack
them, and create meaning from them. When you are ready to provide feedback,
you become the sender.
Effective Communicator Being - ANSWER As the sender, this means your
message is clear; you make the decoding process easy for the receiver(s) and
