What is conductive hearing loss - ANS -middle ear failure

What is sensorineural hearing loss - ANS -inner ear (cochlea)
(nerve isn't functioning, depolarization isn't working properly)
What is Rinne test - ANS 512Hz tuning fork against mastoid until
no longer heard, then move to 1-2cm from auditory canal
What is normal and abnormal Rinne test - ANS -normal = sound
re-appears
-Abnormal = no sound = sensorineural hearing loss
What is weber test - ANS 256 or 512Hz tuning fork in center of
upper forehead
What is normal and abnormal weber test - ANS -Normal = hear
sound equally on both sides
-Abnormal = one side > other = conductive hearing loss
