construction drawings (working drawings) - Answers- one of the most important parts of
the contract documents
-describe, in detail, the extend of the work and the locations, dimensions, and
relationship of the various construction elements
-represent the interior designer's final decisions concerning design, building methods,
and construction technology
-must show the technically correct ways of meeting the functional requirements of the
design, such as constructing partitions, building architectural woodwork, distributing
electricity, providing safe finishes and satisfying thousands of other concerns
-used to build the project, they must clearly communicate the information to the
contractor, material suppliers, and other people involved with the project
-must be coordinated with the specifications and the consultant's drawings
