Drowning - Answers- -Begins when water enters victims airway.

Reaching Assist - Answers- When the victim is close, and you are able to offer them the
tube and not enter the water.

Simple Assist - Answers- Pick them up and help them exit the water.

Active Victim Front Rescue - Answers- Extended arms with rescue tube, and push
rescue tube down and under their arms.

Active Victim Rear Rescue - Answers- Grab under arms, roll them over on top of tube
and you.

Passive Drowning Rear Rescue - Answers- Grab under arms, roll them over you on top
of tube and you (not appropriate for head/neck/spinal).

Multiple Victim Rescue - Answers- Rear rescue on of them, and the other will hold on.

Passive Submerged Victim, Shallow Water - Answers- Reach down, grab under arms,
roll victim over, position tube under victim's shoulders, remove from water with
backboard.

Passive Submerged Victim, Deep Water - Answers- Feet first surface dive, reach one
arm around victim, pull on tow line with other hand, when at surface pull the tube
between you and the victim.
