Describe the internal and external factors to consider when
planning the human resource requirements of an organisation.

In this assignment I am going to describe the internal and external
factors to consider when planning the human resource requirements
of an organisation.

Internal and external factors of human resource planning monitor the
business by looking at what is happening in the business. This
includes how a organization deals with change in business strategies
or with the introduction of new technology. These factors also help
determine a company the level of skill their staff has and what types
of skill the staff must have for in the future.

The factors which influence the business from outside are called
external factors, and the factors which influence it from inside the
business are called internal factors.

The first factor I am going to explain is the internal human resource
planning methods. The 2 methods which I have chosen to explain are
the; organizational needs and workforce profile for De Bijenkorf.

Organizational Needs

Employees of The Bijenkorf should be able to adapt easily to changes
in the business. for example in specific periods such as the summer
the staff in the stores should be able to handle the crowds of people
in their store. The staff in factories should be able to manufacture
more clothes because of the increased demand. If Bijenkorf decides
to expand into different markets around the globe, to operate they
will need employees. Specially employees with language skills will be
very helpful if this is the case. If machinery is replaced in the factories
of the company employees would have to take trainings in how to
run the machinery properly. The Bijenkorf aims every year for a
