Declaration of Faith
1. 1 Thessalonians 4: 3, 7 ; Hebrews 12:!4 - ANS-Holiness to be God's standard of
living for His people.
2. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 ; Acts 1:9-11 - ANS-In the premileenial second coming of
Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to
Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
3. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 ; John 17:17 - ANS-In sanctification subsequent to the new
birth, through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ; through the Word and by the Holy
Ghost.
4. 2 Timothy 3:16 ; Acts 3:21 - ANS-In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
5. Acts 1:8 ; Ephesians 5:18 - ANS-In the baptism of the Holy Ghost subsequent to a
clean heart.
6. Acts 2:1-4 ; Acts 10:44-46 - ANS-In speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the
utterance and that is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
7. Deuteronomy 6:4 ; 1 Corinthians 8:4 - ANS-In One God, eternally existing in three
persons: namely the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
8. Isaiah 53:45 ; Matthew 8:16-17 - ANS-Divine healing is provided for all in the
atonement.
9. John 3:16 ; Romans 5:9-10 - ANS-That Jesus Christ was the only begotten Son of
the the Father. He was conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary. He
was crucified, buried and raised to life. He ascended into heaven and He is today at
the right hand of the Father as intercessor.
10. Luke 22: 19-20 ; John 13; 4-17 - ANS-In the Lord's supper and the washing of the
Saint's feet.
11. Matthew 28:19 ; Mark 16:16 - ANS-In water baptism by immersion and all who repent
should be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
12. Philippians 3:20, 21 ; John 11:25-26 - ANS-In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for
the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.
13. Romans 3:23 ; Luke 24:47 - ANS-That all have sinned and come short of the glory of
God and repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for repentance.
14. Romans 3:24 ; Romans 5:1,7 - ANS-That justification, regeneration and the new birth
are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
