No, it was organized and adjusted to changes.
5) Who was Padre Hidalgo?

A renegade priest, who led peasants
6) What happened in 1822 in Mexico? And the year after?
Intercede, the whiter of the two generals, had become King of Mexico, but a
year later, he was overthrown by the military and a republic was declared.

7) Who is Simon Bolivar? What was his idea that was appealing?
A liberator. He wanted to appeal to the sense of South Americanism. He had
convinced the Eureros to stop supporting Spain and to fight against.

8) What was the “most revolutionary” thing about the Latin American
independence movements?
- They enraptured the idea of popular sovereignty in the New World.

9) Why wasn’t Latin American independence “revolutionary”
- The social status of those on top remained while in other countries, the
powers of an established church, weakened. The patriarchy remained
strong, and the revolutionary wars were long and bloody.
